It's summer of 1923. Clay Ferling is a close friend of Will Gold - the current prime minister of England at that time. Each year, Will hosts a themed ball with a series of prestigious guests, but this year, there is one name that stands out to Clay. He enters the ball under a false name like everyone else and sporting a mask. A particular porcelain one. 
At the ball he meets someone. As they get closer, so does danger and the reality of society in 1923 wreaks havoc in the minds of the two.

Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with. Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can't tell anyone their problems. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.
