In Autumn Claire's life, intimacy outlines fiction, it may feels unrealistic but the experience is authentic. In which, this is far different from Autumn perceives on what a love means to her before. She had believed that love should be; genuine, pure, and true. It should complete, make you feel loved, and most especially love should not hurt.
However, her experience was completely in contrast from what she presumes before. So, this had made her feel that intimacy is a fiction. Whereas, it gives her the vision that love is unrealistic and a lies.
