Kozume Kenma never wanted anything to do with other humans, all he wanted was to stay inside and play his game. The only friend he ever had was a loud-mouthed boy named Tetsuro Kuroo. One night Kuroo takes Kenma to a Nekoma party, but Kenma & Kuroo get a bit too tipsy, causing a terrible accident, leaving one of them dead...
The other survives, leaving them having this overwhelming feeling of guilt. But then they see delusionals of the "ghost" of their dead friend, making them believe that the ghost of their dead best friend is haunting them...
