Sudden Change

Shayne Robert Topp and Courtney Ruth Miller are best friend since they were a child.

Wahlid Mohammed, he has a longtime crush with Courtney, but Courtney can't return the feeling that he felt for her.

After they graduated from Senior High, their class decided to had a party. In that night, Shayne got really drunk to the point he can't stand on his own feet and Courtney being his 'bestfriend' has the obligation to look after him. She bring Shayne on his house, she found out that his parents aren't home.

Because of the alcohol in Shayne system, he manage to tell her that he's going back to Arizona to study college. He want to tell her as soon as he found out about that but he got scared that she might be mad at him, because they had a promise that they'll go on the same school and graduate college together. He thought that atleast before she got mad at him, he spent the remaining days with her without hatred in her heart before he leaves.

Courtney wasn't mad, she feels more like being defeated. Not only because they won't be able to make their promise come true but also she knew that she will lose her bestfriend.... the person she secretly love.

The moment Courtney brought him to his room and change his clothes. She doesn't say anything and Shayne wasn't okay with it. When she's about to leave the room, he grab her on her waist and pulled her into him causing her to fall on top of him.

Courtney try to get up but Shayne tightened his hold on her. They look at eachother eyes before Shayne close the gap between them, Courtney was shocked to feel his lips against her. Shayne roll over so he's now on top her and things got deeper.

Courtney just let him,
That night Courtney felt the feeling she wanted to feel since she found out that she had feelings for him,
That Shayne love her.
The thing that comes in her mind,

'If I lose you, atleast there will be someone who will keep reminding me of you.'
