"You know... we're very much alike." She said, staring deep into my eyes.
"I am nothing like you!" I shot back.
She backed up, then let out a dry laugh.
"You pretend to be bold, but deep down, you're scared. " She chuckled. "I can see through your facade. I know your scheme....Perfectionism. What a way to tackle your fears."
"You don't know anything about me!"
"You know i'ts true. Think about it." She said , wearing a wry smile.
"I'm not pretending to be anything. Stop acting like you know me and leave me alone!" I screamed and walked away, as fast as my legs could carry me.
She was right.
I hated that she was right.

"Is it so bad? Don't you want me too?"
Chike's eyes were focused on her and she could feel the heat as if laser beams were being projected on her. "This will get complicated fast."
"If it does, we take a break and talk things out. What matters is that we stay friends when this is done. I don't want to lose my best friend," Ada said.
"How can I say no to that?"
