"I am nothing like you!" I shot back.

She backed up, then let out a dry laugh.

"You pretend to be bold, but deep down, you're scared. " She chuckled. "I can see through your facade. I know your scheme....Perfectionism. What a way to tackle your fears."

"You don't know anything about me!"

"You know i'ts true. Think about it." She said , wearing a wry smile.

"I'm not pretending to be anything. Stop acting like you know me and leave me alone!" I screamed and walked away, as fast as my legs could carry me.

She was right.

I hated that she was right.

Jasmine Okafor, who was also referred to as the star girl of Emerald high School, had everything an average Nigerian teenager girl could wish for. Was it beauty?, or brains?, fame, wealth, a hot boyfriend? Just name it, she had it.

He was a fierce competitor and never came second in any competition. With all these, made people scared of him and at the same time, admired him to the ends of the earth. Each time he bullied someone, beat up someone, insulted a teacher, maybe broke some lab items, skipped school which always made him end up in Principal Michaels office. The 45-year old man would just stare at him through the rim of his glasses and sigh heavily before letting him off. Adele-Akinniyi Luke was one of the best student in Preston International College but yet was one student every teacher wanted to get rid off. One way to describe Luke.... He was an.. The matter begins to spiral out of control when she is called in by her school's head of department. Now, she has to keep her head afloat even though her mind is in turmoil. It was enthralling, captivating and relaxing, makes you want to know what's going to end the whole charade. It was a fun filled journey. Every character was enhanced in their own way.
