THIS IS REALLY BAD JUST TO LYK
However i'm once again broken out of my trance like state as the boy i was having a stare off with seems to take a large stride towards me, frozen in my spot my fight or flight takes in as i take a just as large step back keeping the distance between us, he doesn't seem pleased at this as he does it again, and i respond the same, stepping back.

But it's at that moment he utters the words i've dreaded my whole life, the words that caused my mothers death, the words i never wished i would have to hear directed at me.

"MATE"

So i ran.
