What happened after the fall? To Jack Crawford and the rest of the FBI, it seemed like Hannibal Lecter had finally died, taking Will Graham with him. It seemed like an easy ending: a martyr died to get a two villains off the streets.
100% canon compliant, unless they make a season 4.
