This is an unfinished work, originally written by my middle school self, slowly being revamped and re-written by current me.

Y/N Murphy thinks she has things all figured out, and it's as simple as this: Everything sucks. School sucks, people suck, her family sucks. And the only person she can rely on is her brother, Connor. But when he takes his own life, hers crumbles around her, and suddenly nothing makes sense anymore. Now she's stuck with unanswered questions about who her brother was, and who she thinks she is. And with Evan Hansen in the picture, things get even messier.
She's not supposed to like him.
She knows he's doing something unspeakably wrong.
And yet at night when she dreams, she dreams of him.
