Roxy Villanovos is a from a family of wealthy developers who build homes all over the world. Due to a new business deal, Roxy, her parents and her three supportive best friends; Kylie, Amanda, and Francesca move from St. Louis, MO to the suburbs of Cherrybrook in Sydney, Australia.

Roxy's parents enroll her in Norwest Christian College where she meets Luke Hemmings. Roxy becomes captivated by Luke as she discovers that he can sing and play the guitar.
