Kami is a first year student at Art School in Chicago. She is rude, rebellious, and haunted by her past. Bethany was the only light in her life and since her, Kami can't seem to let anyone else in. That is until she meets Rebecca her college roommate with ugly dresses, fidgety fingers and a spunky personality that reminds her a little bit of Bethany. And then there is Adam the boy with golden eyes and golden hair. From the very first moment they shook hands her body ignited in a way it had never before. Kami felt alive for the first time in her life. But can Kami let go of what she's done? Will she ever be able to find friendship again? Will she ever allow someone to love her? Just as she begins to let her walls down and open up; someone she never thought would hurt her betrays her in a way that she may never recover from.

He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed.
