Hoopa Unbound has been released from the confinement of the Prison Bottle at the hands of a remnant of Team Galactic.

After a hard fought battle that results in the  temporary loss of its arms, Hoopa goes into hiding while plotting vengeance on the person responsible, Isaiah Wright. Now teleported to the Galar region thanks to Hoopa's ring, Isaiah is in unfamiliar territory. He will have to defend himself against Ultra Beast attacks under the control of Hoopa with all new Pokémon under his commend. In order to quell Hoopa and rid the world of Team Galactic for good, Isaiah must form an extraordinary bond with his team, thus embarking on another journey.
