While on vacation her parents are grotesquely murdered, and in a courageous, but desperate, effort to keep the family together she decides to escape and take her brothers with her. Through the siblings' journey, Roxanne meets a thief of a boy and a temperamental girl each with pasts as dark as hers. Read their story, as they struggle through basic life problems, on top of running from the law and figuring out the mystery of their family members' murders that run much deeper than normal homicide.
