I never knew no love greater than his. Our love was volcanic, short and firey with a bitter ending. I couldn't help but love any minuet of it. And when he died, I began to piece myself back together, but not even superglue and ducktape could hold together the fragments of what was left behind and broken.
David helped. He showed me that even when it felt like the end of the world, not all was lost. The stars would still shine, the moon continue to pull the tides. So even when I felt like I needed him, I never needed him as much as the tides needed the moon.
