Hermione and Draco return to Hogwarts in the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War to complete their education. Hermione has hope for the future, but must cope with the loss she has faced in order to build the future she wants for herself, and learns forgiveness along her journey. Draco returns to Hogwarts solely out of obligation, and feels that it is the worst consequence he could have received. He must face the penalties of his past actions and struggle through his unwelcome return, as he builds tolerance and learns of forgiveness in his own way. Both characters navigate love, loss, struggle, and pain as they work through their final year, learn valuable lessons and prepare themselves for life after Hogwarts. Astoria Greengrass is from a prominent pure blood family in England, and much like Draco she has to navigate through her life post-war, and struggles with understanding what it means to be a wizard as she tries to leave her pure-blood ideals behind.
