The Multidimensional Mishap

This story is based off a dream I longed for as a kid, and it's recently revived itself. A normal teen dreams of having the ability to walk across dimensions, for a price of course. what's the price? every dimension they go to has a crisis they need to solve, and once the crisis has has been avoided, they die. When they die, the leave behind a piece of themselves, as a reminder to whomever they were last with, but the person themselves have no recollection. There will be traumatic themes in this story, as well as plenty of violence. Let's start then, my darling hero(ine). This is what you wished for, no?
