They had met so many times, too many times to be accidental and yet it were.
There was something about him that intrigued her. She was someone that poked his curiosity. 

Friendship develops. He acknowledge her. She started to care.

But hidden beneath their ordinary visage of normalcy was a pretense, for they both struggle with their families' affair under the biggest Underworld group currently taking residence in the Metro York City.  A group that most normal people doesn't know exist.

And at the end of the day, they have to  get involved with the political responsibilities, carry their own weight as bearer of it's name. They have to concur with everyone's decison, as the two of them are now bounded by marriage to a different strangers their families proposed - promised - even before they were born. Strangers they never seen, never met, never known.

And while she has to endure the nightmare of being bedded by a complete stranger, her future spouse to ensure her purity before the vow, he needs to pledged his loyalty and life to his barely consenting wife as his family demanded.

Why is freedom so burdersome to their kinds? Why is he born in the shadows? Why does she live in Lies?
