it's the mid 1800s in the country side of England. Summer is approaching and all the young women are hoping to catch the men's eyes this year. This summer events, galas and dances are going to be held and everyday girls are planning for them. the hopes of weddings are arising and getting someone to court you in the biggest stress

Miss Alice Bristol is one of the few girls who could stress less about getting married. Alice would rather spend a half a year or more with man before marrying him. Her mother could disagree more with her though, her mother wants a wedding and wants it as soon as possible. Alice comes from a very rich family, one with multiple estates and large portions of land. one day a familiar person comes to visit, and it isn't for a short time either. Alice is set on courting Mr. Sam Oliver this summer, but the guest gets in they way of that

Mr. Charles Alton is the familiar guest. comes from a small family like Alice, his father and Alice's father do not get along. in fact both hate each other, for reasons Alice will never know. Charles (Charlie) is to be like his father and to keep the family rivalry going between the Altons and Bristols. But of course Alice gets in the way of him doing that.

Mr. Sam Oliver comes from a huge family. he is the oldest boy and therefore he is most important. his family may not be as wealthy as the Altons but they will still fight. Sam is a kind and handsome man, that makes him an easy target for most of the eligible women in the area.
