Callia Clarion is a 16-year-old, short tempered, book enthusiast with a lot on her mind. Zach McKay, her best friend, is a calm and collected artist with the hope of leaving a small town. Neither of them really planned on spending their summer in a place called Nowhere in Particular where Callia's redneck Uncle Hank lives. Neither of them expected to meet the most pathetic gang of perverted guys, a bubbly redhead, and a stormy eyed boy who can't help but to complicate things more than they already were.
