Alex didn't know it, but she was never good with people. She avoided them..avoided chances of gathering, of interacting.
She had friends,of course but none real enough to call best friends.
It was the break before college. Due to her parents she was being sent to her grandma( who lives far away fro the big city) who lives in a small town called Dead man's creek.
At first she thought it was just the name and the town wasn't as creepy as it's name. But the. Strange things stared happening.
Things like murder, beasts, a creep, and a strange man whom she describes as dangerously beautiful and a creature far from anything human.
Even in the middle of all the strange things she found herself free. Free of the chains she had put on herself. She made friends and even fell in love.
