The Lone wanderer succeeded in bringing fresh water to the Capital Wasteland. And vanished.

Now, a new vault dweller has emerged, with no memory of who she is or where she came from. Her only clues lie locked within the Pip-Boy surgically attached to her arm and an urge to seek out the answers deep in the D.C. ruins.

But a new threat has emerged and the Beautiful Stranger finds herself on a collision course with something more dangerous than anyone can imagine.

Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. Five years after joining the Brotherhood and 4 after joining Trinity, Artemis is sent on her first major mission. To help Elder Lyons in the Capital Wasteland with the Super Mutant threat as well as to take care of a former Brotherhood Paladin named Ashur who turned slaver. Things become complicated however when she comes across a Lone Wanderer in Megaton who is looking for his father. It's when it's mentioned that his father had a Brotherhood of Steel friend when Artemis takes interest and offers to go with him since she's also on her way to them. On their journey they come across the Enclave, an old enemy of the Brotherhood. Things come to a head as to who holds the Jefferson Memorial, the sight of Project Purity and war immediately breaks out between the two factions. A war deciding if the region gets fresh, clean water, or to make it so everyone in the wasteland becomes sick.

So yeah, you've all heard the story told by many. About how embracing nuclear power instead of fearing it would lead to having technology advanced quicker, you'd be partially correct about that... The year 2234 was the first and last time humanity was wrong about this statement. After the threat of WW5 many countries were locked into the doctrine of MAD (mutually assured destruction) if war with this power was to happen. But, worry not as many smart people did many smart things like make the Pip-Boy a kind of personal computer strapped to your wrist, there was also the assist bots (creative, I know) who helped the common folk with menial tasks, and stasis chambers or more commonly known as cryogenic pods (cryo pods for short). Well, after some undisclosed country(ies) launched their nukes at both the north and south poles, the world as we knew it was being flooded. People from all over the world had scrambled to try to get to their local vaults that were built by Vault-Tech to try and weather this worldwide catastrophe. Unfortunately, like many stories began the entirely of the human race was not fortunate. Nearly the entirety of the human populace was wiped out. There were was at least a few known places like Alterna and Vault 111. Well, like all the other places, they didn't last long. Alterna went into the dust after a failed attempt at flying a rocket into space to try and find a more suitable planet for humans. And almost every Vault had some sort of problem from a lack of power to improper oxygen filtration to radiation leaks. Well there was one Vault that's in an undisclosed location in a place called Vault 069 and it held the best and brightest people. This is the story of one of its only surviving residence lived with the new life that was created after ~12,000 years of not being seen. This is the story of a man nicknamed The Savior also known as (Y/N) the last remaining human on earth or at least what's left of it.

I will try to keep with neutral pronouns as well as no real set appearance. although there will be some things that will be set. this is Y/N fanfic and there will be romance endings for Cait, Curie, Danse, Deacon, John Hancock, Robert MacCready, Nick Valentine, Piper Wright, and Preston Garvey. Sorry if you wanted some of the other companions like X6-88 (there are some companions that I haven't romanced before like Piper and Curie so I will try my best with them) I have completed the entire base game multiple times so I have a decent idea on what's going on but if I do get something incorrect please tell me and I will try my best to fix it. :] good day!
