I'm trying to explain, stop interrupting me. "I was caught off-guard, I didn't study in detail, I'm sorry, I should've studied everything, I promise I'll study everything in the future-"
"It will show in your results," his mother said. She left the paper on the table, and looking at it made Bakugou's heart hurt. "What did you get for all the other subjects?"
Bakugou's heart stopped. "B for Literature. A for History, and A* for Sciences and Math."
"I expect you to get at least an A for all those subjects. B for Geography and English."
"What? But I can't improve my English so fast-"
"You said you didn't study it and that's why you didn't manage. Not that you were bad at it. If you were telling the truth, you don't even need to improve to get the mark."
Bakugou gritted his teeth. "Okay."
His mother crossed her arms. "What are you doing with your teeth?"
Bakugou loosened his jaw and stopped gritting his teeth. "I'm sorry."
"Don't keep saying sorry, do something about it-"
"I know, I know, I will-"
His mother slapped him.

Katsuki Bakugo is tired, tired of feelings so fucking pathetic. He's a shitty person, with an even shittier life. It's what he deserves, isn't it? Funny how fate has a way of balancing the scale. He'll never be a pro-hero, not when he's barely surviving each day he has to put up with his mother. But he's not asking for pity, Katsuki Bakugo can take care of himself. And no one needs to know anything, they need to keep their damn mouths shut, or else they'll see the wall he's built up is slowly tumbling down. This is Kiribaku btw is the title didn't give it away. !!!Disclaimer: this is a four year old work and written in first person. It's not my best to say the least but I'm leaving it because it was an important part of my writing journey (although I'm not putting "angsty Bakugo fanfic" on any portfolio ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ) I rewrote the summary because I hated it but mostly everything else is remaining unchanged because I'm too lazy to edit a 70k story. Kirishima begins to close himself off from everyone, he doesn't even want to talk to Midoriya or Bakugou. He still goes to school, but completely ignored when someone tries to talk to him. He starts wearing his hair down, and it starts to fade to its natural color. One day the villains attack, Kirishima wants to keep everyone safe, he wants to make sure he is the only that ever gets harmed during this. Bakugo is always rude to everyone. Loud, rough, mean, and hateful. But that's just a mask he puts on every time he leaves his room. The thoughts are always there, the voices and words. They won't shut up. They won't stop telling the truth. Everyone is out to get the aspiring hero, and his mind won't let him trust anyone.
