Now, the Legendary Dragons of Unova and the trainers who were worthy of wielding them have seemingly disappeared. However, a new journey begins for two young boys and a young girl. N's son Neptune has long accepted that his own son died in tragic circumstances. So when he gets an unexpected call from a stranger in Galar, claiming that his son is alive and well, he doesn't know what to think. This unidentified man also claims to be a member of the criminal syndicate Cipher. It's suspected that they aided Team Plasma's last revival, but why would even Team Plasma know the location of a baby who supposedly drowned when he was only one week old? Naturally, Neptune and his friends want to find out for themselves, but this is an International Police issue as well as a personal one. They send two promising young officers, Triton and Sam, but that won't be enough. They also enlist the help of a woman from Orre, Heather.
