This is the time of a zombie apocalypse and he loses his parents in the chaos and he grows older with only people he meets along the way. After years with no parents Jacob meets back up with them but they don't even remember who he is and they are complete dicks so him. He has to come to a conclusion whether or not he wants to keep his parents alive or not....

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. " I'm sick of you putting your hands on me Johnny!" A loud gunshot went off, echoing around the house, and for the first time, it was quiet. No more door slamming, no more cleaning up my mother's blood off the walls, and no more fighting. I remember asking my mother "Are we free?" I swear it felt like Christmas or New Year's. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. A self-defense case quickly turned to manslaughter and the law turned against June at the drop of a hat. June was sentenced to 25 to life, a then 14-year-old April was left alone. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. But April has a secret and no one will ever find out, cause if you did you'll end up just like Johnny. ❌This book is not for the weak❌ 21+
