Isla Stone was perfectly content with how her life was going while she studied abroad. After all, it was the best decision that she had ever taken to escape the horrors of her lonely hometown. The only thing she hated about having to leave was the idea of not having her sister and her 9 month old niece beside her at all times. It is all fun and games until she finds out that her sister ran away and left her 9 month old daughter-now orphan baby- behind after all the harsh knives life had thrown at her stabbed her mental health. Isla doesn't think twice before booking a flight right back to her hometown and deciding to become the new mother of the 9 month old until her sister-Gianna- is found. However, the family from the father's side also wants to take part in raising the baby and they think that the only right way for the baby to be raised in a healthy and happy family is to have the parental figures of both a mother and a father. Isla knows that her parents are not cut out to take care of a little baby seeing as they failed her and her sister when they were younger so there's no other choice than to let the baby be raised by the grandparents from the dead father's side. However, Isla still isn't pleased about that so the grandparents from both parties finally come up with a new possibility which would benefit both sides-make Isla and their other son, Myles, get married.

Which might have been a good idea had Myles not been her ex.
