This is a story that takes place after everything happened but instead Steven doesn't leave and he has decided to stay in beach city and UNFUSED, the human half is Steven and the gem half is called Pink.
They decided to stay split apart and only fuse for emergencies or when pink whats to know something that Steven isn't going to tell him. Steven says it's much easier to talk to yourself and love yourself that way.
I'm not very good at writing and this is honestly the first fanfic I have written in a few years soooooooo, it might not be good lol :p

Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet. Now after all that a Year as passed meaning Steven is 17 now. Everything is finally bright again Steven is ok now and so are the Crystal Gems even if Steven won't be able to get his body back atleast he'll live a big life but..not everything has been bright because Steven is having trauma the day of his own death.
