In support of her bestfriend, Andria Young, a successful writer attends an art exhibition. Indulging in his brother's wishes, Micheal Rodgers, a young millionaire of humble beginnings also attends the same exhibition and finds himself captivated by Andria. In the months afterwards, Micheal proved himself indispensible to Andria and her friends. Micheal is devastated when she states that she could never have a future with him. It causes him more problems than anything. Shunned for being self-centered, he struggles through to start his junior year. Together they learn what it really means to be out of touch.
