Meridian Staggs is just a simple young girl living in the sector called Dakar. Her tiny world consists of her parents and her small home since she's never been to any other sectors in the Kingdom of Troyes. But after a brutal fire steals her family's lives, Meridian Staggs is now an orphan. 

With no family left to stay with, she was lucky enough to be invited into a new home. Shamus Rowland, a former army general, took on the difficult role of raising Meridian and his daughter Cameron. 

He trained them every day in hopes for them to become two fierce warriors. Shamus unexpectedly gives Meridian a mission she doesn't know if she can execute. Wanting to prove her worth to Shamus, she faces her mission head on. 

When things don't go to plan, she's forced to lived with the consequences, dragging her best friend Cameron into the mix.

With new obstacles thrown at the duo at every turn, they strive to complete their new mission. When all goes wrong, what will happen to the fragile kingdom? Who will Meridian and Cameron be able to save?
