Nolan and Kerris grew up in a safe and privileged world and are suddenly flung - mostly unprepared - into conflict. Their expectations for their friendship and world are changed dramatically. The story involves a group a people called Legacies and their Chosen Sentinels who are bound together by the power of a Legacy.
