This is the story of somebody who in general was a great person, but foolishly made a single mistake that has a lasting impact. Please, regardless of how comfortable you are with driving or if you had a few drinks and think you feel fine, please do not drink and drive, look at your friends, do your makeup, or glance at your phone for a split second. Anything can happen. I originally wrote this for a scholarship, but I was a dummy and didn't read the rules so I have to write a new story for it (((: and I spent all day on this one and I don't want it to go to waste, so I'll upload it here; even if no one sees it.

The party was quite nice. The school year had just started. But there was too much alcohol, too many problems, and a unfortunate accident that would kill 5 kids, leaving many in grief. Cheating happened, death happened, rape happened, and brought people closer to each other than they've ever been. People mourn every time they see the sunset, people can't bring themselves to get into an Uber. At the end of the day they're just young, and some will stay young forever. The before, during, and after of a tragic night you'd never would want to be trapped in.
