The Wizards' War The Chronicles of the Midlands Book Two
The wizards believe that the Wizard's Misery is no more and Aryganazhan has married Maledictor and now the wizards are at war. Strange doorways have begun opening through out the Midlands and bizarre creatures are emerging forever changing the kingdom. Can Celine close the doorways and stop the creatures from entering? Sneak peak: Suddenly a very small, strange creature that looked like a miniature woman with wings darted in front of Celine's face, then flew over to Brandon and followed along beside him for a moment before speeding back into the Royal Pine Forest as he reined in his horse. "What in the Midlands was that?" Brandon asked in shock. "I don't know," Celine answered concerned. "Something very strange is going on. I feel like I need to go into the woods! There's something I need to do in the woods!" she said as she rode over to the side of the road and dismounted, running into the Royal Pine Forest as Brandon called after her to wait. He quickly dismounted and swiftly lead his horse over to Celine's, taking its reins and tying both horses to a tree before going after her. "Celine! Wait!" he called after her as he realized that he could hear a very low humming noise coming from within the woods. "Maybe she's following the noise," he thought as he began to follow it to find where it was coming from and hopefully locate Celine. He pushed through the underbrush as the sound became louder and then he saw Celine standing in front of a whirling, shimmering vortex which was floating about four feet above the forest floor. There was a myriad of different types of strange looking creatures coming out of it and Brandon stood there in disbelief at what he was seeing.Complete
