Hurricane Cordelia Santiago has a problem. She has to deal with her annoying ex who wants her back and a certain suitor who courts her without permission.

So her older brother suggests something. She should date someone who is out of their league and will intimidate both her ex and suitor. Someone who will become her shield from other boys.

That's when she meets the most taciturn boy-Gio.
