SUMMARY: Karrine Genesis is just starting out in a new school, and already is being chased down by the Father, stalked by her dead brother, and sitting next to the popular in the closet gay guy in homeroom.

But that's ok, cause she's got a Guardian to save her whenever she needs her. Except, Liz isn't the most reliable.

And Liz doesn't trust the cute boy that sits in the back of the class. What was his name?

Lane.

And it really doesn't help that she's not human.
