Life is pretty hard for Jasper Lock. If you think that growing up without his father was hard enough, you would soon see that it gets worse. He lives with the struggle of having to control a condition that was passed down from his father to him. It was this same condition, called the transition, which truned his father into a killer and is the same reason for which he is locked away in a maximum security prison.
Anger problems, nightmares, enhanced physical capabilities and unexplained blackouts are just some of the symptoms that he would have to endure on his path towards controlling the alter ego on his inside which seeks desperately to be free.
The question that he is faced with is an obvious one. Would he be able to control his inner beast or would he subsequently give in to it and be lost forever to it?
