In a world where Loki, the God of Mischief, has taken over, girls have no worth. The human race is looked down upon as little more than cattle by their new ruler. 

Georgaina is nineteen, and she is an unusual beauty. Suffering from pancreatic cancer, the very thing that killed her mother only a year ago, she has nothing to offer the cruel Loki when he calls her father in to repay a debt. 

She has nothing to offer except, of course, her life. 

But when time comes for her to give her only valuable possession up, Loki can't find it in himself to kill the defiant, strong, and possibly crazy Georgaina. Instead, he declares her his slave.

Georgaina, however, has other plans. And none of them involve surrendering to the one man who has destroyed the very world.
