I didn't think I'd be revisiting this story, but here I am :)
I headcanon Entrapta and Hordak as asexual. It was also in the tags of Severed, but that aspect of their relationship didn't factor into the plot as heavily as it will going forward. My goal is to portray a wholesome platonic partnership in a way that dispels the stereotype of asexuality as rigid and loveless.
This type of story is very far out of my wheelhouse, but I put a lot of love into it, and I hope you enjoy reading!

A funny word called Love
I ship OtaYuri both romantically and platonically, and I don't really have a preference, but seeing as very few fanfics give importance to platonic love, I thought that I would write one that did. If there's one take away from Yuri on Ice, it's that love is a valuable and precious thing that takes place in many forms. This story is off of one of my headcanons that Yuri and Otabek are both asexual and aromantic, and their friendship goes from being very small to being a qpr (a queer/quasi platonic relationship, which is like dating, except without any romantic aspects, and in this case, without sexual aspects as well). A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter. This is the result, my latest novel set in the science fiction Aoyu Universe as of this writing, and the first (and at this time only) gay/bisexual romance themed story that I've written. --- During the Earth-Silth conflicts, two commanders of opposing warships played a game of chicken at one of the outer known solar systems, the result being a head-on collision and two ships fused together at the bows. After the cease fire agreement plans were made to salvage what they could from the ships and Alain from Earth was sent as part of a two man crew to recover components from the Earth vessel while a team from the Silth would handle theirs.
