Living as a demigod isn't easy. First, Lizzie's been hunted down by monsters since she was thirteen. Second, she happens upon a camp of other demigods that say they are fighting the evil earth goddess Gaea. Her father, who left her family when she was just two days old, is a god, but she's not sure which one.
Lizzie doesn't know much about what's going on in the mythical Greek and Roman world, but when she sees the Seven - seven demigods put into a prophecy -, she knows things won't be simple anymore. She's not in the prophecy, but even so, she will play an important part nevertheless - which might just put her life at risk.
