Just as she settled in, she has trouble making friends with the townspeople, mostly because of the Mayor, a shrewd, stuck-up man who tends to keep his town just the way it is, and how he sees the seemingly innocent newcomer as a "new threat", or mostly likely, a "weird" one, and that there is another one just like her. She stumbles upon an old house in the woods no one is allowed to step foot in, and there, she meets the Maestro, a strange, mysterious, yet handsome figure living alone in the house, and finds out that he has supernatural abilities. Will he help Kelsey reveal her true colors to herself and help her open her eyes? And will she be there in time when she finds out that the Mayor and the townspeople plan to run her new friend out of town and tell them that he's not so bad of a man as they claim he is before it's too late?
