A girl moves to Beach City, California. There she meets Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven. These four are the Crystal Gems that protect the Earth. Now the Gems will have someone new in their lives; an Element Gem. This Gem will have the power to control water. She will live with the Crystal Gems while she learns to control her powers, and soon she may be able to help protect Earth and humanity!
One year after Sapphire was sent to live with the Gems, she meets someone-a boy, about her age. Sapphire and the boy become friends, but in time, Sapphire realizes she has developed feelings for her new friend. Another year later, Sapphire realizes she and the Gems may be in danger! What will happen if Sapphire and the Gems go on an important mission, and something goes wrong?

She stowed away on Peridot's ship to see the world she came from. She has grown some and changed alot since she had last been at her home, but she can't help but see a familiar face and fall in love with someone she just met when she comes back.
