Prologue
Evie is daughter to a very wealthy business man in New York. Her mother died when Evie had only turned ten, she is now 17 and living with her father and his new wife Susan and her daughter Ferra. There is something very strange and mysterious about her two new family members and Evie intends to find out, but could this involve some serious consequenses for Evie? The family are newly moved to New York and the two girls have started school.
Evie finds that theres something extremely suspicious going on in her new home and then decides to do some investigating on this matter. But it seems that she's dragged herself into a world of mayhem and mystery as she finds theres an exsistence of a vampire civilisation in the very city she's living in and not only that but her step mother and Ferra are also a different breed of vampires!
Evie falls for a boy in her school before she finds all of this information and she thinks she loves him in a very short amount of time which was weird for her as she's not the easily love struck kind of girl. She finds herself being pulled towards this boy and after finding all the facts about these people she learns that he too is a vampire, and not only a vampire but the king of all vampires. What will Evie do now?
