Angels and Demons have always warred with each other. Heaven versus Hell. God (or, a rather important Council of Angels) versus the Devil. "Good" versus "Evil". But things are rarely as they appear.
Harper Young, a Fallen Angel who has always felt ostracized when she lived in Heaven and who grew up with the Angel Council breathing down her neck, has never had a particularly soft spot for the Humans she protects on Earth. However, when she learns that the Angels are willing to demolish the Humans in their pursuit of claiming the Earth in the name of Heaven, and eradicating Hell, Harper realizes that it is time for her to take a stand against her former guardians.
For Harper, life on Earth was simple: Hunt Demons, Get Paid. Ignore the Angels lies about the Restoration. But one discovery changes everything for her. Not simply a Fallen Angel, not simply an Angel, but the daughter of Satan and a very powerful Avenging Angel, Harper has the ability to bring down Heaven or Hell if she so chose to.
With the ability to shift from one Classification of Angel to another with the simple act of blood drinking, Harper is nearly impossible to kill and more powerful than anyone could have imagined. Though, this doesn't come as a shock to those closest to her, who have always felt her power radiating from her and knew that one day, she would be a force to be reckoned with.
Satan is determined to protect his daughter, Heaven is seeking to kill her, and Harper finds herself torn between wanting to be Earth's saviour and wanting to escape the pain of her life for a (hopefully) more peaceful afterlife.
