Otis lived life recklessly. Alcohol and random hook-ups answered most his problems. One problem it couldn't fix was his new addiction, also known as Jinx.
Living life as the spontaneously gorgeous prodigy, proved ever so troublesome for Otis. Though his casual and cool exterior would say otherwise, internally, his fear of the dark chased his confidence away. To put it simply, he was bricking it.

With his fathers presence looming over him, taunting him at every opportunity, and his newfound feelings of confliction, this seemingly cocky 19 year olds life takes a pummeling, however you want to interpret that.

He was gifted the chance to live in freedom, to redeem himself and live the life he had wished for. But inside the world of a book. Life was all happy and beautiful. Until one unfortunate day he was entangled with the worst situation as he had to present himself before the antagonist of the book. Standing before him he caught his eye and was recruited as one of his personal guard. Moreover the protagonist of the story was very much to his distaste.
