Indifferent (Sort of)

Rya, sixteen years old, lives in southern Florida with her mother. Once Rya was born, her father left them. She doesn't fit in with most people. She struggles in school, and hates it. She probably has one friend (and he's very odd). Jasper is a cripple, and he makes really weird screeching noises when he's excited. Rya would ditch him, but she can't help but feel bad for him. One day, he just showed up at school and wouldn't leave her alone.
A very interesting set of circumstances occurs, and Rya discovers she is not normal. She finds herself at Camp Half Blood, a safehaven for people like her. Finally she makes friends and fits in (well, sort of).
Being a half-blood is dangerous, and Rya spends a lot of time running for her life.

This a fanfiction I wrote based off of ideas written by Rick Riordan, author of Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus.
