For years both were the best of friends, but good this life long friendship be something more?

After two years of no communication Avis gets a call from the middle of no where from her old time friend, Nixon. After a quick hello and plans to move in together the two set off on a road trip to Nixon's humble home in Colorado, but along the way Avis bumps into people she was determined to forget in the two years Nixon and Avis didn't talk. Even more odd, Nixon seems to have gotten into some trouble the two years Avis wasn't around.

A road trip turns into a race all around the towns between Texas and Colorado. Along the way a past fire resurfaces and secrets are uncovered.
