9/12 Observation 1: People are selfish. Many walk around trapped in their own bubble. We all do to some extent. But most endanger or annoy others with their obliviousness. Texting while walking, or driving. Arguing loudly in a public place. We are annoyingly oblivious and it's normal. Leo Harris has big dreams. He wants to be a writer someday, and he carries his little black notebook everywhere, jotting down observations about strangers and sometimes making up stories to go with them. His current favorite subject is a beautiful girl, a regular at his favorite coffee shop. His notes on her are filled with prose and lack the snark that marks his other entries. Leo works up the courage to speak to her one day, and that conversation changes his life.
