आप - एक अधूरा वाक्य
एक साधारण-सी बातचीत से आरम्भ हुई यह कथा कब मन के किसी शांत कोने में अपना स्थान बना लेती है- इसका आभास ही नहीं होता। कुछ संबंधों को किसी नाम की आवश्यकता नहीं होती; वे धीरे-धीरे शब्दों में आकार लेते हैं, मौन में अर्थ पाते हैं और स्मृतियों में अपना घर बना लेते हैं। यह उसी यात्रा का वृत्तांत है- कुछ कही हुई बातों का, कुछ अनकहे भावों का, कुछ ठहरे हुए क्षणों का और उस अधूरे वाक्य का जिसे अभी पूरा होना शेष है।

(मोहब्बत हो गई...) इस्तिहारा करूं, इस्तिखारा करूं तू फिर मिले तो मैं इश्क दोबारा करूं ...... (तू फिर मिले...) फिर अंधेरों में नए शफ़क की तलाश है फिर नया दिन नए सफर की तलाश है ...... (तलाश है....) . इश्क़ मेरा हिकायत-ए-मग़्मूम तो नहीं? मेरी जां हमारा इश्क़ कोई जुल्म तो नहीं? ....... (इश्क़ मेरा....) "अगर तुम हमसे आश्ना हो, तो फिर ठीक है 'गर नहीं तो फिर कुछ नहीं हमारा तो तआ'रुफ़ ही तुमसे है अगर तुम नहीं तो फिर कुछ नहीं" ..........( तो फिर कुछ नहीं....) . . . . . .
