This is a tiny novelette that I wrote as a kind of therapy when I was going through a dark place back in 2017.
I wanted to post it here because I have no intentions of going anywhere with it but I do kind of like it so I wanted to share with someone. I hope you enjoy it but if you don't, that's fine too.
(I'm currently working on a longer piece of writing, but I was starting to get sad seeing my page so empty)

Morana knows she's different from other people in more ways than one. Firstly, she's sixty-seven years old but stopped ageing in her twenties. Unfortunately, she has no way of finding out why all of this is since she was abandoned as a baby. A shocking event makes her cross paths with Alejo, a male witch who has issues trusting other witches. But when it comes to Morana, he feels comfortable and at ease, as well as attracted to her. They are, however, not mates, and as such, he knows that any romantic relationship between them is doomed to fail. To not risk losing her, he therefore does all he can to fight his own feelings.
