Not so shiny armor

We alll know the stories about the princes, the damsell in distress and the prince, the knight in shining armor. The princes is locked away in a tower when her prince charming rescues her. They ride off into the sunset and that's their happily ever after. The end. That's what most people believe or are told but personally, I don't believe this. Here is my theroy.
