This is a tale about power and struggle, and how even the purest of intentions and the best-laid plans can all come to naught! it's about a team of mythical heroes and figures, and their goal to bring great change and prosperity to their country while fighting those who wish to keep the status quo and the yoke of oppression firmly in place! Some of these characters may seem familiar to you, as well as the themes and events explored within. You may even sympathize with them and their way of thinking, but in all things never forget....behind the power and glamour and mystery surrounding them, they are just....human.

They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names.
