It's been over a thousand years since Katniss Everdeen and the rebels took control of the Capitol. About a hundred years later after Katniss and Peeta lived long happy lives the Capitol once again took over. This time it was almost too easy, the war lasting a mere week, the twelve districts have been taken over once again, and District 13 gone forever. After a hundred years of peace the Hunger Games began again. One thousand years later the rebels still haven't bounced back. The districts remain as they were before the rebels took over. The tributes from Districts 1,2, and 4 still train to become champions while the other's battle starvation. Twenty Four will be reaped, 1 will come out.

Lyanna was from district 11, despite the poverty she was always cheerful. At age 14 she won the 68th annual Hunger Games and became a capital sweetheart. But still battling with Trauma from the games she managed to find the light in the darkness. Finnick Odair met her from being a mentor for his own district and after she won he helped her through the trauma that he knew came with winning the games. But after Katniss and Peeta win the games and a spark is ignited among the districts and the victors are called back for another game. They knew nothing would ever be the same again. We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years. My name is Larise Parigood, and the Hunger Games are back. And this time, they're as heart wrenching as ever. Warning: Much Vulgar Language, Profanity, and Uncomfortable Topics. After Katniss, Peeta, and all of their allies broke the Hunger Games system, they went back home and started families. They thought the whole Hunger Games business was over. They were extremely mistaken. The next year, twenty four more tributes fought to the death. Now, it is time for the 100th Hunger Games. The fourth quarter quell. This year, it will be different. The past victors' families shall be reaped from the pool of existing families from their district to fight to the death. And only one person will survive. No exceptions. With Katniss's and Peeta's family in the games, will they find a way to not die? Or will there really be only one winner? The real question is... Will the Hunger Games ever end?

They rebelled. The Hunger Games returns. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark lost their lives but their kids lived. Willow Mellark has a daughter, Primrose Mellark. Prim is chosen for the 135th Annual Hunger Games, and made the twelve districts plus District 13 and the Capitol citizens to rebel again to stop the Games again but they lost. Primrose died ending the Mellarks. The thirteen districts plus the Capitol, newly named District 14, which is the mutt industry district now, have to face the consequences. The thirteen districts have to provide, every year, a young man and a young woman, between the age of 11-19 to fight in the Games. District 14 has to care and tend to the tributes before the Games. [SEQUEL TO 'BEHIND THOSE VIOLET EYES'] It is said that once one is crowned victor of the Hunger Games, they never have to return to the arena. Every twenty-five years, there is a change in the Games for that year only. These special years are called Quarter Quells... and for this year's Quell, the Capitol has created something beyond anyone's imagination. For the seventy-fifth annual Hunger Games, the tributes will be Reaped out of their District's own pool of victors... And only two can win if they are from the same District... Cyra Merison, Alia Fletson, Cato Demeir, and Gale Hawthorne are all Reaped back into the Games for another year to participate in the bloodbath. And this year, not all of them will have the odds in their favour. For Cyra, this year is especially horrific. Not only is she Reaped back into something she loathes, but is also forced to marry someone she hates under the power of President Frost. Alia, on the other hand, takes her Career training to a whole new level and proves to everyone she intends on winning. And with the 'sudden' death of head Gamemaker Seneca Crane, President Frost takes control of the Games this year. He makes it clear to all of Panem who his favourite tributes are... And if the citizens are smart, they will bet on them as well. The tributes will be forced to fight harder than ever if they wish to win. Because, in the end, only the strong will survive.
