The thoughts of a boy trapped in an endless hurricane of ice, as he attempts to survive and care for the girl he loves so. The once bright world is bleak now, stripped by the sharp wind to violence and insanity. Mysterious left corpses in the snow. Chanting on the wind. And he and her in their cabin, sat around the fire, trying to live in this new white and grey world.
Originally written as a school assignment, to be expanded into a novel in the coming years. Part of The Snow Saga.

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in.
